Taste of Nova Scotia (2006-2016)
Overview - In ten years, Janice led Taste of Nova Scotia to double its’ membership and budget.
Best Practice Missions - Janice led Best Practice missions for Nova Scotia local food producers and tourism operators to Vermont, Finger Lakes (NY), Philadelphia (PA) and Boston (MA).
Trade Missions - Janice led trade missions to ten states (USA), the UK, Germany, Switzerland, France, Belgium, the Middle East and Asia. Janice also implemented ten inbound missions to Canada.
Under Janice, Taste of Nova Scotia created and managed exhibitor pavilions in Boston, Brussels, Birmingham, Shanghai, Netherlands, Toronto and New York City.
Fundraising - Janice raised millions of dollars through federal, provincial and municipal grant processes; and private channels to grow Nova Scotia into one of the leading culinary destinations in Canada.
